This charger fits all phones that support wireless charging, no matter the brand.
Phones, with or without a cover, must be between 61 & 86 mm in width, to fit in this charger.
It charges wirelessly with a maximum of 15 W and provides a very fast charge.
iPhone 8 and up will charge with 7.5 W (due to wireless Qi(1), non-MagSafe charging), while Android phones with wireless charging can charge up to 15 W.
It is NOT recommended to use an attached metal ring when using this holder, as it is expected to interfere with the charging, resulting in the phone heating up and possibly even stopping charging, as you most likely will not be able to place the metal ring exactly over the wireless charging field. The charger comes with a USB-C charging cable and a powerful 12/24V USB car charger with two ports, one of which with a USB-C 18 W (PD) port.
When you turn on the car and the charger is powered on, the charger will automattcally open the arms up to the maximum width. Then you just place your phone in the charger and the charger will automatically close the arms securely around the phone - and the phone will start charging. The phone can be charged without a cover, but even with a decently thick cover the phone will still charge normally. In some cars, the arms will automatically open up again when you turn off the car. But if waiting for the power cut off takes too long, or you just need to take the phone out of the charger, while the car is still running, you can just press one of the buttons on the side of the charger and the arms will open up for you to take your phone. Press one of the buttons again and the arms will close, or you can take your phone out of the charger and place it back in it again, after which the arms will close automatically again.
