With this smart active holder from Fix2Car, you get a safe and legal high-quality installation. And it never gets any easier.
This holder fits all phones that are prepared for wireless charging.
The telephone, with any cover, must be between 61 and 86 mm to fit in the holder.
It charges wirelessly with a maximum of 15 W and provides a very fast charge.
iPhone 8 and up will charge with 7.5 W (due to wireless, non-MagSafe charging), while Android phones with wireless charging can charge up to 15 W.
It is NOT recommended to use an attached metal ring when using this holder, as it is expected to interfere with charging, resulting in the phone heating up and possibly even stopping charging, as you most likely will not be able to place the metal ring exactly over the wireless charging field. The holder comes with a USB-C charging cable and a powerful 12/24V USB car charger with two ports, one of which with USB-C 18 W (PD) is used.
When you turn on the vehicle and power is applied to the holder, the holder automatically opens the arms up to the maximum width. You now place the phone in the holder, after which the holder automatically closes the arms tightly around the phone - and charging starts. The phone can be charged without a cover, but charging can easily work even with a half-thick cover. In some vehicles, the arms will automatically open again when you turn off the power. If they don't open automatically - or if it takes too long - just press one of the buttons on the side of the holder and the arms will open. Or if you stand still with the engine running and you want to take the phone out of the holder.
The holder comes with a suction cup for easy mounting in the car's windscreen. But if you instead want a corresponding holder with ball joints, for mounting on brackets, choose 64560.
Since 2011, KRAM Telecom has had its own brand, Fix2car, where you can find a range of holders for mobile phones and tablets.
